     Catherine Nelson-Piercy MA FRCP FRCOG

Catherine Nelson-Piercy is a Consultant Obstetric Physician at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals Trust and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in London. In 2010 she was awarded the title of Professor of Obstetric Medicine at King’s College London. Her undergraduate studies were at King’s College, Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. She trained as a physician, and was taught Obstetric Medicine by Professor Michael de Swiet.
Professor Nelson-Piercy is past President of the International Society of Obstetric Medicine (ISOM). She is founding co-editor in chief of the journal ‘Obstetric Medicine: the medicine of pregnancy.’
Professor Nelson-Piercy has been involved in the development of several evidence-based National Guidelines notably for “Contraception in Women with Heart Disease”, BTS / SIGN “Asthma in Pregnancy” and RCOG Green top guidelines on “Reducing the risk of thromboembolism during pregnancy, birth & the puerperium” and ‘Management of nausea vomiting of pregnancy and hyperemesis gravidarum”. She has over 200 publications and has edited five books and written the successful Handbook of Obstetric Medicine, now in its fifth edition. She is also one of the central physician assessors for the UK Confidential maternal deaths enquiry.

Leslie Skeith

Dr. Leslie Skeith is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology & Hematological Malignancies. She completed her medical school and Hematology residency training at the University of Calgary, and completed a 2-year fellowship in Thrombosis Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Skeith's research interest is in the area of pregnancy and venous thromboembolism, as well as medical education. She is currently completing a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) degree at the University of Chicago at Illinois (UIC).

Lay Kok Tan
Dr Tan Lay Kok is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Singapore General Hospital. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1997 and the Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1998. He pursued a Fellowship in Obstetric Medicine and High Risk Pregnancy at Queen Charlotte Hospital in London from 2000 to 2001. He is the Senior Consultant for the High Risk Pregnancy Clinic, the Gestational Diabetes Joint Clinic and the Cardiac Obstetric Clinic.

Anne Flem Jacobsen
Oslo, Norway
Dr Jacobsen MD, PhD is a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She currently works as a senior Consultant at Oslo University Hospital (OUH), Dpt of Obstetrics. She has a 20% position as Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo.
Dr Jacobsen’s main research area is venous thrombosis and pregnancy, but she is also involved in other research areas in obstetrics as postpartum hemorrhage, perinatal GBS infections, skills training and obstetric analgesics.
Dr Jacobsen has 10 years’ experience as head of Ullevål Obstetric Unit, OUH with 7000 deliveries. She is the current chief editor of the revision of Norwegian National Guidelines in Obstetrics 2019.
