Toxocariasis is a zoonosis caused by Toxocara canis or Toxocara cati. Affliction of the central nervous system (CNS) is very rare. The authors present a case report of a 4-year-old boy with CNS form of larval toxocariasis, possible forms of affliction of CNS, diagnostics and therapy. They emphasize likely complications mostly parainfectional myocarditis.
