Exact incidence of uterine myoma in pregnancy is unknown - it is estimated around 2 % of all pregnancies. Obstetrician faces myoma in pregnancy more often since the average age of the pregnant women rises. According to present knowledge we are now able to offer the patient with myoma adequate therapy before and during pregnancy, and avoid the possible complication resulting from myoma, and in case treat them properly. The article presents an overview of myoma influence on fertility and pregnancy, and guidelines in management of women with uterine myoma before and during pregnancy.
