Viruses belong to important environmental etiological factors of immunemediated diseases as multiple sclerosis.
Thei rinfluence on the appearance of this disease is in conection with many other factors like genetics, epigenetics,
metagenomics, style of life and other environmenta linfluences. Because multiple sclerosis is a consequence
of immune system disorders, infectious factors have influence not only on the beginning of this disease, but also
on its ongoing activity. This article gives an overview of state of art opinion about the role of virus infections in inflammation
in multiple sclerosis.
