Catheter-directed farmacological thrombolysis, percutaneous aspiration and mechanical thrombectomy are the main endovascular interventions for transluminal removal of acute peripheral native arteries and grafts occlusion. Nowdays they are acceptable, less invasive modality of emergent surgical revascularization. Three clinical cathegories evaluation of acute limb ischemia severity is decisive for emergency of endovascular or surgical treatment. Literary overview of effectivness and risk of catheter-directed thrombolysis as well as summary of our experience is the content of the article, too.
