Endomyocardial fibrosis (EMF) is a rare cause of restrictive cardiomyopathy. It represents one of the forms of myocardial
damage in hypereosinophilic syndrome with a significant impact on patients morbidity and survival. Clinical course of EMF
is highly varied. The presented case report highlights this variability in a patient with rapid development of EMF more than
7 years after the first symptoms of hypereosinophilic syndrome occured.
