Carcinoma of the uterine cervix is one of the most common malignant neoplasms among pregnant women. At present
pregnant women should have cervical cytology screening at thei first prenatal visit. In cases of cytological abnormality,
colposcopy is indicated. Cervical conisation is used only for diagnostic role of invasive cancer. The management of invasive
cancer depends on the gestational age at the diagnosis, stage and size of the disease and patient’s desire of pregnancy.
