The HELLP syndrome is a rare but serious pathological condition bounded to the gravidity. This syndrome is in its complete
form followed with classical signs and symptoms of preeclampsia, in the incomplete form the syndrome can vary
completely. The exact prediction of this complication of pregnancy is unknown and the diagnosis is usually verified only
clinically and according to the laboratory test results of the HELLP mnemonic. The only one causal therapy is the termination
of gravidity, other modalities are only symptomatic and supporting. Typical patients complaints by the starting
HELLP are often underestimated and unfortunately the syndrome is usually finally diagnosed as fully developed
condition.
