The publication analyses experience with prenatal diagnostics of rare foetal pulmonary
diseases within the period 2011-2016. In the literature the recently utilised
classification system was re-evaluated based on the new pathological-anatomical
knowledge. We recommend using a new classification based on the diagnostics
of vascular supply parallelly with the existing classification of bronchopulmonary
sequestration and a congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation. Availability of the
prenatal Doppler CFI ultrasound diagnostics allows the identification of part of the
vascular pulmonary supply. Variability of direct and indirect prenatal diagnostic
signs at pulmonary foetal dysplasia is a subject of the research, and at present does
not allow a clear prenatal detection of the prognosis. The complexity of these issues
requires an interdisciplinary cooperation.
