Foetal echocardiography in the first trimester is the examination of the foetal heart during the measurement of nuchal translucency, i.e. from 11+0 to 13+6 weeks of pregnancy. The examination is indicated in abnormal measurements of the flow in the ductus venous and tricuspid regurgitation as well as in case of pathological values of nuchal translucency. In the paper, we bring a simplified form of the analysis of the foetal heart scans gained by the dual examination with 2D and colour Doppler mapping in the four-cavity projection of the heart in the slice in which 3 vessels and trachea are displayed.
