Management of patients with atrial fibrillation in clinical practice
Anticoagulation treatment in atrial fibrillation is paramount to protect patients from the devastating consequences of
stroke. It is important, however, in the indication of anticoagulation treatment, to balance an individual patient’s risk
of stroke from atrial fibrillation and the potential risk for serious bleeding with anticoagulation therapy. In the daily
clinical practice we have to decide due to individual profile of patient.
