Variability in its occurence is the common characteristics of all biological sys-tems. It is determined by both of intrinsic
and extrinsic factors. Genetic factors and environmental factors interacts together and lead to variability of acting of
the living organism. There is body of evidence about heart rate variability, blood pressure variability and glycaemicvariability,
however blood lipid variability is still not known well. This overview brings the known facts, that are of importan-
ce for the future outcome of the risk patient.
